Sculptra

Sculptra® Aesthetic is an FDA-approved injectable that works subtly and gradually over time for a more youthful-looking appearance. It is used to correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds such as smile lines, marionette line, and chin wrinkles.

Sculptra is made with a synthetic material called poly-L-lactic acid, which is gradually and naturally absorbed by the body and helps to rebuild lost collagen through a series of treatments. Unlike hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, Sculptra Aesthetic helps stimulate your skin’s own natural collagen production to help restore its inner structure and increase facial volume that has been lost to aging. Because of this natural stimulation, results can last more than two years.

On average, three injection appointments are needed over a period of a few months. The number of injection appointments and the number of injections per appointment vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost.
