Kybella

Kybella injections are a new FDA-approved treatment for patients with an unwanted double chin. Dr. Mandy is one of a select few dermatologists to offer this new treatment for patients in the South Beach and Miami areas. Kybella is the first and only FDA approved injectable for contouring of the submental (double chin) area.

Kybella's active ingredient is deoxycholic acid, a compound that is naturally produced in the body. After Kybella is injected into the submental fat under the chin, it causes the destruction fat cells. This procedure allows Dr. Mandy to reshape or contour the double chin non-surgically. Patients should expect mild bruising or swelling following treatment. Additional treatments may be needed depending on the patient’s chin profile.
